This is our Better Renter Certification course. You will receive access to our video-led course and upon successful completion you will receive your Better Renter Certificate to share with future Property Owners as part of your application. Better Renter Certification is a one-time fee for lifetime certification.
The Better Renter Certification + option includes the Better Renter Certification course along with the following extras:
- The Better Renter Move-In Checklist
- The Better Renter Move-Out Checklist
- The Better Renter House Manual, which helps you troubleshoot and fix simple household issues on your own
This is a one-hour course with additional information geared toward the first-time renter. In addition to the Better Renter Certification course, it also includes chapters that cover the following:
- How Property Managers will evaluate your credit history and ways you can improve your credit score
- Questions to ask about the rental agreement BEFORE you sign it
- Setting up utilities and services in your name
- Securing Renter’s Insurance to protect your personal property
- Better Renter’s Move-In and Move-Out Checklists
- Better Renter’s House Manual that helps you troubleshoot and fix simple household issues on your own
